Director of technology council of Science, Research and Technology Ministry stressed on a strong connection between promoting welfare in society and STP's activities.

According to public relations of Kermanshah Science and Technology Park, Ali jabar Rashidi on the sidelines of "STPs and development " seminar in Islamabad said: STPs play a unique role through the development process of society.

He added: STPs and their tenant companies are supposed to provide 20 percent of GNP of the country.

"Knowledge based companies must be supported in order to play their role through political, socioeconomic and cultural progress of society."Rashidi continued.
