President of Kermanshah Science and Technology Park said that the main key to development of the kermanshah's technology ecosystem is participation of private sector and added: “all the capacities of the province should be used to remove obstacles in the way of investors of knowledge based economy”.
According to the public relations of Kermanshah Science and Technology Park, Dr. Siamak Azadi said: " presence of the private sector is a key factor in the development of the province's tech ecosystem. All actors are effective in this ecosystem, but eventually we will succeed when the private sector is engaged."
He added: "Therefore, for enhancement and success of Kermanshah's technology ecosystem, everyone should cooperate and use all the capacities in order to strengthen the presence of the private sector in this ecosystem."
Azadi stressed: “The risk of private sector investment in the field of knowledge-based should be reduced, and only with this can we hope for the development of technology in the province. The more private this partnership is, the more tech ecosystem will develop”.
President of KSTP said: "62 knowledge-based companies are active in the Kermanshah, and in this regard, Kermanshah ranks first among the western provinces of the Iran, including Hamedan, Lorestan, Kurdistan, West Azerbaijan and Ilam."
Azadi went on to say:” 413 technology and knowledge-based startups are active in the province, of which 295 companies are supported by Kermanshah Science and Technology Park, 71 companies supported by Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, 32 ones are supported by Razi University, and 8 companies are supported by the industrial University and seven companies are also sponsored by the Islamic Azad University.
He mentioned that most important structures for the development of tech ecosystem in Kermanshah, including incubators, accelerators, innovation centers and innovation factories.
